MEDIA ARCHIVE OF THE BASQUE LANGUAGE IN NAVARRA
The Basque Media Library of Navarre is a Euskarabidea / Basque Institute of Navarre project which aims to make a wide range of material produced in Navarre’s various Basque-language dialects available to all those interested: sound and audiovisual recordings of the Basque spoken in Navarre and texts written in the Basque dialects used in Navarrae. The project got under way ten years ago under the name of the Basque Audio Library of Navarre, a joint Government of Navarre-Euskal Kultur Erakundea project. The basic objective of the Basque Media Library of Navarre is to collect and classify all of this material in an easy-to-consult computerised system and to make it available to scholars and the general public alike.
